Skull Island: Rise of Kong is a pay-to-play adventure game wherein the player can experience the compelling origins of the orphaned Kong, and witness his remarkable journey from being a young Kong to becoming the King of Skull Island, all through an action-packed, third-person perspective.
As Kong, you will embark on a quest to avenge the death of your parents at the claws of Gaw. Skull Island: Rise of Kong presents a path to absolute beastly royalty that is fraught with challenges and primal beasts to defeat. Conquer waves after waves of Gaw’s ferocious minions, traverse through the swamps and waterfalls, and plunge deep into skullite-filled caves.
Avenge the death of Kong’s parents
In Skull Island: Rise of Kong, you get the chance to explore a mysterious jungle island that conceals more than just your enemies as it also harbors the secrets of the island’s diverse flora and fauna. Unearth the Mythos of Skull Island as you collect collectibles scattered about, unlock hidden areas, and delve into the rich history of the Kongs and the island’s inhabitants.
Meanwhile, defeating Gaw’s beastly agents empowers Kong to grow stronger, resulting in his combat prowess becoming more refined. Unleash his fury in devastating combos to annihilate Gaw’s minions and tactically switch to rage mode to amplify your attacks against the island’s gargantuan subterranean dwellers whenever possible. When the enemy hordes become overwhelming, you can always activate Kong’s spine-tingling roar that would send them fleeing.
In addition, you can enhance Kong’s combat prowess even further by taking part in special events and engaging in boss fights that tap into his full potential. Unfortunately, there are no other game modes aside from the main campaign. You also cannot team up with another player through local or remote co-op means. There is generous support for six languages interface and subtitles-wise, although the audio and dubbing are only available in English.
